I moved to the UK earlier this year from Ukraine and when I arrived, I began looking for opportunities in hospitality. I came across Springboard at a Job Fair, and after they told me about the Trusthouse Destination Hospitality course, I decided to join it as I believed it would help me in my future career.

On the course, we did lots of practical sessions, as well as online studies, where I learned new practical skills and gained knowledge the industry. I particularly enjoyed the cocktail masterclass and the interview workshop. The course helped me to become more confident and understand exactly what I wanted to do in future. I would highly recommend this course, even if you are not sure what you want, it’s a great chance to meet people, improve your knowledge and gain new skills.

After graduating the course, I had two interviews and subsequently accepted a position as a Receptionist at The Edwardian Hotel in Manchester.
