The Springboard Diageo Hospitality Sprint employability programme was instrumental in helping me find a job. Before joining the programme, I was applying for jobs everyday but not getting any responses. The programme helped me improve my CV and gave me a better idea of what employers are looking for. I also got help with practice interviews and learned how to use the STAR technique to answer interviewer questions. This made me feel more prepared and less nervous during real interviews. I ended up getting a job related to my degree, but the programme really helped me through the job application process and taught me how to better show off my skill set and experience. It also helped to keep me motivated after months of unemployment.
