Having just finished my A Levels at school, I knew I wanted to become a Chef, but I didn’t know how to get there, or where to even start looking.

After joining Springboard’s Hospitality Sprint Programme, they contacted me and we were able to identify the skills I already had and assess how to get me ready for a career.

I was so grateful for the time Springboard took to help me, through the one to one support I got, such as the interview skills, CV help and confidence workshops.

At the end of the course, I was invited to meet a local business who asked me to attend an interview. I got the job! I started at Galgorm Spa and Golf Resort in September 2022 as an Apprentice Chef.

Through an apprenticeship, I get to earn while I learn, and even get the chance to work with an amazing team!

Without the help of Springboard, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I love my new job and will be forever grateful for all the support I received.
