Turn your passion into purpose – host a fundraising event and help change lives with Springboard.

Whether you’re a seasoned event organiser or trying something for the first time, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Event Ideas to Get You Started

Food & Hospitality-Inspired Events

  • Host a supper club, themed dinner, or wine-tasting night
  • Bake sale at your workplace or community centre
  • “Come Dine With Me” style competition with friends

Challenge Events

  • 5k/10k walk, run, or cycle – solo or as a team
  • Climb a mountain, take on a fitness challenge, or host a step-count competition
  • Sponsored endurance (danceathon, silence, or swim)

Casual, Feel-Good Fundraisers

  • Coffee morning or afternoon tea
  • Quiz night, bingo, or games night
  • Clothes swap, car boot sale, or garden party

At Work

  • Dress-down day or themed fancy dress
  • Bake-off or team breakfast
  • Raffle or silent auction

How to Run Your Fundraising Event

  1. Pick your idea – Make it something you’ll enjoy
  2. Set a date – Give yourself time to plan and promote
  3. Set a goal – £100, £500 or more – every penny makes a difference
  4. Create a fundraising page – Use JustGiving and select Springboard
  5. Promote it – Use posters, social media, email, and word of mouth
  6. Enjoy it! – Take photos, share updates, and have fun
  7. Thank your supporters – Let them know how much they helped raise
