Springboard's 2016 FutureChef winner Bethan Disley-Jones, 15, from Merseyside's Pensby High School was treated to a spectacular experience at Royal Ascot. As part of her prize she worked in Ascot's kitchen, having a work experience taster at one of the UK's most prestigious events.

Since finishing 2nd out of over 8,000 competitors in the 2016 FutureChef competition, Courtney McDowall, aged 16, has tasted the rewards of hospitality. The core aim of Springboard’s FutureChef is to encourage young students to pursue careers as chefs and she has done just this and been inspired to seek a career in the kitchen.
