Fundraise as a Team

Team up to make a bigger impact!

Whether you’re part of a company, sports club, friend group, or local community, fundraising as a team is a great way to build morale, have fun, and raise more for Springboard.

Why Fundraise as a Team?

  • More people = more reach
Share the load and reach more donors together.
  • Built-in motivation
Keep each other going and celebrate milestones as a group.
  • It’s fun!
Get creative, compete with other teams, and enjoy the shared experience.

Team Fundraising Ideas

Take on a Challenge

  • Sign up for a virtual race or step challenge
  • Host a “Relay for Springboard” where each person takes a shift
  • Climb the equivalent of a mountain together (e.g. everyone contributes steps/floors)

Host a Group Event

  • Themed lunch day or international food festival
  • Bake sale, street food stall, or cocktail night
  • Pub quiz, games night, or karaoke evening

Get Competitive

  • Team vs. team fundraising leaderboard
  • Departmental challenges (e.g. most donations, funniest idea, biggest bake sale)
  • Manager dare: hit the target, and your boss wears fancy dress or does something wild!

Go Virtual (or Hybrid)

  • Virtual run or cycle tracker
  • Online auction or raffle
  • Zoom talent show or “Springboard Bingo”

How to Organise Team Fundraising

  1. Nominate a team captain to coordinate
  2. Pick your fundraising idea (or mix a few!)
  3. Set a shared goal (e.g. £500 or £50 per person)
  4. Create a group fundraising page on JustGiving
  5. Keep momentum going with updates, photos & encouragement
  6. Celebrate together – pizza night, team shoutouts, or silly awards!

  • Choose a fun team name
  • Share your story – why are you supporting Springboard?
