For 30 years, The Springboard Charity has been working with the hospitality industry to help young people get started on their career, for example their FutureChef programme in schools now engages 16,000 young people every year. In addition, Springboard supports nearly 2,000 people, from challenging backgrounds into employment, through their award-winning, training and mentoring schemes.

Springboard enjoys the support of virtually every major caterer, hotel group and many restaurateurs and bar operators. As you know, these operators have been severely impacted by the current COVID-19 crisis, which in turn has dramatically reduced Springboard’s income. We are reaching out to our industry supply chain to help support this vital charity in these most unusual times, so that it can continue its important work.

Over the coming months, the need for Springboard’s activity will increase dramatically and those young and disadvantaged people, and indeed the industry, will need its support more than ever before. We are writing to you, as a major supplier to the industry, to ask for a financial donation – since we are sure you would want to help support both Springboard’s work and the industry’s rapid recovery.

To this end, we have launched a special appeal for one-off donations at three levels:

Bronze – £5,000

Silver £10,000

Gold £25,000

In return, your organisation will be recognised on the Springboard website, through our social media and at future Springboard events. You will also be making a real difference to people’s lives and the industry. We hope that you will be able to help.
