Support into Work Programme – Birmingham & Leicester


Springboard's Digital Hospitality Academy

We are offering FREE training to support currently unemployed individuals in Birmingham and Leicester (and surrounding Midlands areas). If you have been made redundant due to COVID-19 or have recently left education and are keen to gain employment in Birmingham or Leicester (and surrounding Midlands areas), this course is here to support you in to work.

Springboard’s Support into Work Programme has been designed to build confidence, identify and develop your transferable skills and help you seek employment in allied sectors, for example: retail, sales, transport, etc.

This two week programme will be delivered through a series of webinars and online modules, designed to support you throughout your job search- from recognising your strengths and key transferrable skills, CV development, the application process, and developing interview techniques.

This FREE employment support programme will begin on the 15th February 2021 and the digital training will last for 2 weeks

The two week course includes key training modules to support you through:

  • Identifying your strengths, experiences and transferrable skills to find the right roles for you
  • Knowing what opportunities are out there and who is hiring right now
  • Job searching and making strong applications
  • CV Development and interview skills
  • Sustainability
  • Being mindful, confident, and taking care of your wellbeing

Throughout this course you will also receive tailored, 1-2-1 support from an employability specialist who will help you to find employment opportunities. We are here to help you to find a job that is right for you.

Please note:

  • We have a limited number of places available on this programme, which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis
  • To qualify for the Academy, you must have the right to work in the UK and/or Ireland, be aged 16 or over and are currently unemployed
  • You will need access to a smartphone, tablet, laptop or PC to access the support – in Scotland and Wales, we have funds available to support you with equipment and data (on a first come, first served basis)
