Springboard and wagamama are delighted to announce an exciting new business partnership.
Springboard is delighted to be joining forces with wagamama on a major drive to inspire young people and unemployed adults into exciting careers in hospitality. The partnership will nurture a pipeline of talent into the industry, and make a positive contribution to improving perceptions of a career in hospitality, showcasing exciting career opportunities within progressive companies like wagamama.
wagamama is proud of its reputation as a leading restaurant brand, serving delicious Pan-Asian food inspired by the flavours of Japan. The partnership cements involvement in Springboard’s key activities including: training wagamama teams as Springboard Ambassadors who can work with schools to deliver interactive presentations and activities, motivating and inspiring potential new recruits to the industry; provision of expert careers advice to help people make informed career choices through Springboard’s CareerScope and engagement in Springboard’s successful IntoWork Programme, KickStart, which provides one week of intensive training to learn the skills and gain the qualifications needed to enter the industry, along with a two-week work placement.
