Over £55,000 was raised through Saints & Sinners: The Alternative Big Event, which was filled with entertainment from Rockaoke, the London International Gospel Choir and cabaret from Martin Dibben. David Meade hosted the evening’s entertainment of saints and sinners, while exquisite cuisine was provided by Head Chef Jean-Michel Viala and Taste by Leith’s. Conviviality Plc provided the wine.

Springboard’s FutureChef Alumni worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure a great night, with FutureChef Alumni Tom Hamblet and Eden Allsworth showing how far they have come thanks to Springboard’s FutureChef initiative. Guests also heard from three Springboard beneficiaries on the night, who had been through the Diageo Learning for Life and Galvin’s Chance programmes.

Anne Pierce, Springboard’s CEO, commented: “We are thrilled with the amount we raised through Saints & Sinners: The Alternative Big Event. The event lived up to its theme, as cabaret combined with gospel choirs and Springboard’s panto cast even made a re-appearance, ‘oh yes they did’! On the night guests dressed to impress, donning horns and halos, and as ever we appreciate all the support that was shown – sinners and saints alike. To Springboard, everyone who continues to attend our events is a saint – we hope to see you all at our future events!”
