Waiter races, food workshops and much more are in store as hospitality venues prepare for National Waiters Day. Designed to celebrate all front of house staff – whether a waiter in a fine dining restaurant; a shaker in a diner; a mixologist in a cocktail bar; or a barista in a coffee shop – National Waiter’s Day is a celebration of those working in the hospitality industry and a showcase of the profession.
At the British Hospitality & Tourism Summit, held on June 11, Mark Hoban MP, Minster of State for Employment, Patrick Dempsey, MD Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants and Ufi Ibrahim, Chief Executive of BHA unveiled the total number of pledges of 31,092.
