“What Next” for the hospitality, leisure and tourism sector?

The 29th March is now only a few weeks away, the pressures on our sector continue to grow through a volitle economic backdrop. A heavy reliance on EU nationals, all time low UK unemployment rates and competition with other sectors to attract the talent pool available means that “what next” for the sector to attract and retain talent in an everchanging market place is vital.

The 'What Next' Breakfast Briefing will be a platform for sharing best practice, develop forward thinking engagement models, explore innovation and use of technology, identify holistic models of staff engagement are required to sustain and grow our industry.

We will discuss:

  • How to engage with and maximize the use of co-production models between the public, private and third sector to better support business and routes to the talent pool available
  • How to best provide in work support, and work with a workforce that may experience more complex needs, alongside attracting our younger generation through engagement with education, and our business leaders of the future through the use of the apprenticeship levy.
  • How these approaches are needed as key ingredients for success.

This 'What Next' Breakfast Briefing will bring together a panel of experts to provide insight and lead a discussion to engage, drive and shape our collective thinking.
