Guest gathered together yesterday for an atmospheric carol service in the impressive Holy Church of the Annunciation. Christmas hymns and carols were sung beautifully by the congregation to celebrate this festive season we are embarking on and stories and bible verses were read exquisitely describing the story of Jesus’s birth.
The night didn’t end there, guests were invited to continue the festive spirit at Doubletree by Hilton where revellers enjoyed delicious complimentary treats’ including the German Christmas bread stollen which was the most popular treat of the night, and spoiled themselves with mulled wine and drinks to make the evening full of Christmas cheer!
If that’s not enough, guest also got a chance to battle it out at our Christmas raffle and silent auction, giving them the chance to take home some dazzling prizes and perhaps purchase a few of those all-important Christmas presents for friends and family, including a Four Seasons Park Lane English Afternoon Tea for Two and a Mixed Case of Wine. What a bargain!
Overall it was a successful evening raising over £10,000 to support the vital work of The Springboard Charity who help young, disadvantaged and unemployed people into a career with the hospitality, leisure and tourism industry.
